Mindfulness/Self Compassion and Meditation Teacher and Facilitator of Workshops/Intensives – Trained in Holland and Portugal by Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Chris Germer of the Center for Mindful Self Compassion and Hamid Ebadi of Maitri (Zen) Retreats (Karuna Center, Monchique). Life coach (one to one and workshops). I teach our students and my colleagues in both my school and at district. I have also taught at the global Compassion Summit in Amman, Jordan to students from 20 schools of different countries.

I own my own boutique record label and publishing company, am a published poet, have been in a British film about English teachers living in the Middle East, and have inked a major label distribution (record) deal with one of the largest and long-standing firms in India (Bajaj Int’l owns all the sugar plantations and manufactures auto-rickshaws among other things). I have also produced the world’s largest known community coffee festival (34 cafes and 1 trader’s hub) in South Manchester, UK in 2013.

Presently live and work – Jubail, Saudi Arabia with International School Group (Jubail).
Service (Currently): Member of the SIT (school improvement team), a leadership team for Compassionate Action in ISG Jubail, and lead the student Compassionate Action ‘Compassion Club’ at the school with a colleague. Leading a group of MS students on a Dubai arts and cultural trip in January 2020. Leader of the Mindful Self-Compassion programs at ISG.
Service (Previously): Peer counselling and social work (Canada); service experience leadership (1) Cambodia – renovation of a school in the jungle with a team of students and teachers (2) Taif/Jeddah, Saudi Arabia cultural exploration week); and suicide prevention and outreach volunteer and leader (Manchester and Salford Samaritans, UK).
