Theory/Reflections – 20%
General Rubric Used to Assess Components of Class Work
4 – A+ to A- 90-100% – Excellent – showed creativity in interpretation and mastery; highly entertaining
3 – B+ to B- – 81-87% = Good – achieved the task competently and with entertainment value
2 – C+ to C- – 73-80% = Satisfactory Effort – partially achieved the task with some entertaining aspects
1 – D+ to F – 72% or below = Unsatisfactory – Some effort put in and the performance or product has potential, but failed to achieve the expected standards for performance and class work
For the sake of class discussion and understanding, when grading only one component such as ‘overall performance’ or ‘rehearsal’, each component will assigned the following percentage points:
4.0 – A = 100%
3.5 – A- = 94%
3.0 – B+ = 87%
2.5 – B- = 80%
2.0 – C- = 73%
1.0 – F = 59%
